Bike Touring

 Adventure Cycling, a nonprofit solely dedicated to spreading the good word about bike travel.  Come in to Upcycles for a complimentary issue of their awesome magazine!  These folks also publish some really nice maps for the following routes.

A fantastic resource for the how's and where's of short bike tours: Bike Overnights.

You've perhaps heard of Rivendell bicycles, designed by Grant Petersen of Bridgestone bicycle fame?  They're big into bike trips as well, with some good basic info in their Touring & Camping section.


Used/New Bikes

If we don't have the right used bike for you, this is a no-brainer: Portland craigslist bikes.  Of course, we recommend that you bring a bike in to us for a FREE assessment before you buy it.

And if you don't have a lot of $$ but you've just gotta have a new bike, you can find some great deals at Bikes Direct.  You can even have your bike shipped directly to us and we'll assemble and tune it up for you - from $60 to $100, depending on type of bike - call us for details!
