New Things to Read
We've just gotten two new titles from Microcosm Publishing. Yes, these are actual books, printed on real paper, with real ink, and they are $10 each. We know what you're thinking, "Oh my, these would be splendid gifts for my favorite biking people!" Yes, great minds surely think alike.

Bike + Rain = Fenders
It's "mudflap season" again, as we like to say here at the bike shop.
If you've got fenders and they're not on your bike yet, you're crazy! If you don't have fenders at all, you're even more crazy! Don't worry, because here at Upcycles we offer fender therapy: our standard full-coverage fender sets are the Planet Bike Hardcore and the SKS Chromoplastics, and for bikes with tight clearance we offer the Planet Bike Speedez. All of these are $40, and we can install them for an extra $15 (which is quite a deal, if you've ever tried to install fenders yourself...)
We can also special-order the very pretty bamboo Planet Bike Grasshopper fenders, for $120.
We also have fender mounting hardware, ya know, those little bolts with holes drilled through 'em, like this:
Only $1 each, way nicer than a zip-tie, and quite cheaper than hiring a machine shop to drill a hole through a bolt.
Ride safe and, as they say, "stay dry"!
