Quote of the day

Our service department philosophy

Of course, to suit our discriminating palates, we replace the Corona with a delicious pint from Breakside Brewery across the street...

(FYI: we never have, nor would we ever, apply WD-40 to your bike chain!  In the event of an apocalypse, though, things might change...)

Kids like bikes, and we like kids!

Recently we hosted a Bike Club expedition here at Upcycles - picture a dozen really excited kiddos running around our small shop!  Read all about it here: http://www.carfreerambles.org/2012/05/thanks-upcycles/  And thanks for the write-up Stasia :)

New bike workstation on NE 13th & Holman Ave.

Next time you're in our neighborhood, check out the new bike fix-it station!  It's at the Pocket Park on NE 13th & Holman, at the kiosk with a brand-new living roof.  You'll be happy to find a pump, some basic tools, and of course some tire levers.  Pictured are Gregg Lavender, a friend, and yours truly, Kai, from Upcycles.
